Chance's Status Update for 2025 Q2

Authors

During Q2 and early Q3 of 2025, my primary focus remains in coaching people and teams, telling stories on and with builders, designing and building AI and Web3 products and startups.

Everything we've got are around relationships, so I'll try showing what we've been doing like below.

New Partnership

  • AI 社会学社 / AI Social Innovation Society (AISI Society)

    • The most intriguing and powerful social innovation community in China, whose founder Ms. Chen has been inspiring me to drive my innovation directions more towards the social good and shared problems of China and the world, such as using Web3 economics to rethink and rebuild social innovation solutions, around Breakpoints' sustainable infrastructure tech and products ecosystem.
  • SoEasy HK, a new venture on building AI x blockchain driven data platform

    • SoEasy HK's mission is to empower the world's resource recycling and carbon neutral businesses with verifiable assets ownership.
    • We've been working with existing board and top executives of SoEasy China, to bootstrap the venture in fund-raising, team building, and product ideation.
    • The fun never ends if you're working with the good hearted, the social smarties and the tech smarties, ALL AT ONCE!
  • Malaysia (GBATA Malaysia Chapter)

    • Oliver is right by encouraging me to work closer with GBATA Malaysia's chapter director Joseph, who's been requesting me to advise on his new ventures, leveraging Breakpoints.live's core team's top talents in new fintech, blockchain, and AI.
    • John Tay, Director of ChangeMaker.asia, has been connecting GBA's local tech communities, and we'll keep up with shooting interesting podcasts on trendy topics, so that we can build a tighter bonding across GBA and KL/Malaysia.
    • We're yet to ignite and unite more members from Chinese Malaysian tech communities, with more conversations, maker events or simply visits to each other's places and/or conferences.
  • South America

    • Mr. Hao, Breakpoints.live's new fintech advisor and banking service partner, who's connected and visionary enough to put my team at the service of some local political and business leaders, who's been seeking China supply chain and financing support, to help upgrade a small LatAm country's monetary system. A sovereign and strong LatAm country's monetary system will be a strong foundation for its sustainable development.
    • My advisory role with Mr. Hao's projects also empowers my team to better serve both DuoNB communities, China's top sustainable living solution provider, and SoEasy HK's upcoming initiatives in extending resource recycling businesses to Latin America with local partners.
    • I connected with a LatAm entrepreneur Jesus Mentero, and we had a great time shooting a podcast on his journey from Venezuela to Spain, and currently to Dubai.

Revived Partnerships

  • Startup Weekend (Shunde) and Startup Grind Guangzhou

    • I'm so happy that Javen's finalizing his leg injury recovery, and has been able to run his own projects, with so much over-lap with mine at Breakpoints.live and more.
    • Javen and Matias beautifully executed yet another Startup Weekend (Shunde), helping 7 teams to expose their ingenuity to local investors and the world. Startup Weekend (Shunde), is the longest running Startup Weekend event series and local chapter in China. Learn more about Startup Weekend and TechStars.
    • Javen and Matias Wen, have been working on something really cool, Rediscover Hong Kong, by touring around the less traveled areas within HK SAR, exploring hidden gems and lesser-known attractions, and most importantly, shooting podcasts, videos and fun stories along their upcoming journey!
  • FMHub - Future Maker Hub / 未来创客工坊

Vibe building everything with FMHub.

  • ZoomQuiet, Breakpoints.live's core member, has been working on FMHub with a few social innovatioon leaders in Zhuhai, and I joined one of their meetup 2+ years back.
  • I rediscovered more collaborative possibilities with FMHub, to host Agentic Maker and Breakpoints.live's in-person events, at the heart of Zhuhai city's tech hub region, the beautiful sea-side Tang Jia Wan district. A great place for good living, good life, and, eventually and naturally, good work.
  • AISI Society members will also benefit from joining FMHub's community meetups/calls/events, and last but not lease, I'll focus on sponsorship and fund-raising for keeping this new joint-project alive.

Dis-solving Inkkey Partnership

  • Patrick Khor decided not to pursue his Inkkey idea with me and my current China team, with Jackson Xu leading the sales. I felt relieved to see that Patrick found a better partner who's more capable to convert China customers / sales, namely, recruiting students to subscribe to his coaching / teaching.
  • While feeling happy for this change, which allows me to focus more on my own projects and interests that I can eeasily do well, I'll keep contributing to the Inkkey Agentic Coaching Framework, the coaching framework we've been validating and improving.

The Core of Agentic Coaching: The Coach-AI-Student Workflow The entire Inkkey Agentic Coaching framework is built upon a single, powerful workflow. This process defines the symbiotic relationship between the coach's expertise, the AI's role as a facilitator, and the student's active learning journey.

The Coach's workflow: Seeding AI agent: Input professional knowledge > training and testing AI agent > release AI agent

The Student's workflow: Receive coach's prompts > self-driven training > forming knowledge > Tested and validated by coaches or Project-based Learning.
